About the CouncilJoin the NWPSCBe a part of the product stewardship movement in the Northwest. Whether you want to help design programs or just get the latest news, there is a membership level for you. The three levels of involvement with the Northwest Product Stewardship Council include Steering Committee Member, Associate Member or Community Member. NWPSC Steering Committee MembersThe Steering Committee is the organizing and managing body of the Council. Members are representatives of government agencies and associations who have signed a Letter of Agreement supporting product stewardship. Steering Committee members participate in subcommittee activities and their representative organizations provide funding and staff time to help implement NWPSC activities. Membership is limited. If you are interesting in joining the Steering Committee, contact the Council Coordinator. NWPSC Associate MembersAssociates are Northwest local, state, regional and federal governments and agencies, other associations, businesses, and nonprofit groups that support the NWPSC mission and product stewardship principles. Associate members sign a pledge of support for the NWPSC mission and Principles for Product Stewardship. Associate members may participate in subcommittee activities and the Associates discussion listserv. Associates receive:
Join the NWPSC AssociatesFill out the NWPSC Associates Pledge of Support (pdf) and fax or mail the form to the NWPSC (the address is on the form). Be sure to review the Principles for Product Stewardship included in the pledge of support. Membership in the NWPSC Associates program is subject to approval. You will be contacted by a member of the Council prior to being placed on the listserv. For questions about the Associates program or listserv, contact Megan Sety or 206-296-4407. Community MembersCommunity members are interested individuals and members of governments, businesses and non-profits who support product stewardship and are interested in staying informed about the NWPSC and product stewardship activities in the Northwest. Community Members receive updates once or twice a month about new programs, legislation and opportunities for involvement through the NWPSC monthly email updates.
